HIGIVARA: Journal of Health Sciences and Policy publishes scholarly works that examine health through scientific, clinical, community, institutional, technological, ethical, and policy perspectives. The journal is intended as an interdisciplinary publication platform for researchers, lecturers, healthcare professionals, practitioners, and policymakers who contribute to the development of health knowledge, healthcare practice, community well-being, and responsive health systems.

Interdisciplinary studies connecting health with law, public policy, technology, education, economics, sociology, psychology, criminology, environmental studies, and other relevant disciplines are encouraged, provided that health remains the principal object of analysis. Manuscripts that discuss non-health subjects without a clear and substantive connection to health sciences, healthcare practice, public health, or health policy fall outside the journal’s scope.
