Contributions from social sciences, public administration, economics, communication, education, law, health, information systems, and other disciplines are accepted when digital technology or digital transformation forms a central part of the analysis.

AICIVIA seeks to connect technological development with the institutional, ethical, economic, cultural, and governance questions arising from its implementation. The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, comparative, and interdisciplinary scholarship from researchers, lecturers, practitioners, policymakers, technology professionals, and postgraduate students. It is published by Punggawa Legacy Center and provides open access to its published content.
