Plagiarism Policy
Punggawa Law Review upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts must be original works and free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, improper citation, and unacknowledged use of others’ ideas, data, or wording.
Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct similarity checks using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to submission. Proper citation and referencing must be applied to all sources used in the manuscript.
The editorial team screens all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to contain a high level of similarity or evidence of plagiarism will be returned to the author for clarification, revision, or may be rejected outright depending on the severity of the issue.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions in accordance with publication ethics standards, including correction, retraction, and notification to the author’s affiliated institution if necessary.
This policy ensures that all publications in Punggawa Law Review maintain originality, credibility, and scholarly integrity.
