Article Processing Charge (APC) Effective September 10, 2026

Punggawa Social Inquiry: Journal of Crime, Culture, and Social Dynamics hereby informs all authors, prospective authors, and readers that effective September 10, 2026, the journal will officially implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) as part of its publication policy.

The implementation of the APC is intended to support the sustainability of journal management, editorial and peer-review processes, article publication, maintenance of the journal’s electronic publishing system, DOI management, and continuous improvement of the quality and visibility of publications in Punggawa Social Inquiry.

The APC applies only to the publication process and does not influence editorial independence, peer-review outcomes, or decisions regarding manuscript acceptance. Every submitted manuscript will continue to undergo editorial assessment and peer review in accordance with the journal’s established standards and policies.

This policy will take effect on September 10, 2026.
